  1. Why do you want to be an NCF director?

I strongly support the business model of NCF as a social enterprise – balancing the need to provide affordable internet to the constituents in order to deliver social impact and ensuring financial sustainability at the same time.

By returning as a NCF director, it will be an opportunity to further amplify the promotion and development of a social enterprise business model of NCF thus narrowing the digital divide in our society. This is a critical moment considering other independent internet service providers are facing cut-throat competition with commercial enterprises.

2. What are the most important functions of NCF for its members?

Providing affordable and secure internet to the people in the city of Ottawa  and bridging the gap of digital divide are the most important functions of the NCF to it’s members.

As more people have access to the internet they are able to participate and significantly contribute to the social, economic and political development of the National Capital Region and Canada as a whole.

3. What skills will you contribute to the NCF Board?

As Network Services Manager at Carleton University, I can contribute my skills in information technology management. Not-for-profit governance will be another of my valuable contributions to the NCF board.
