ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

December 4, 1986

Rachel got it into her head that Matthew was missing again.

Brittany told Zack she was going to tell him the truth.

Cass pointed out that Vince couldn't throw a knife 20 feet accurately. Vince insisted it was a setup. Samuels took this as an indication of murderous rage. Cass asked him to leave. He [Samuels] told Vince not to go anywhere. Exit Samuels. Vince suspects Reginald of sabotaging his car.

Mac told Rachel she was overreacting. Jeanette appeared and said she had a message from Matthew that he was visiting with Mitch. Rachel was not entirely appeased.

Brittany told Zack she had been used to have fantasies about Peter being dead and Catlin coming to take her away. Zach was very relieved and assured her it was perfectly natural for married people to wish each other dead. [I don't like this man.] He was especially delighted to learn she had been frightened of Peter. Felicia brought the baby by. Brittany cuddled him and promised she'd get out. Felicia is no good to Zack as a witness. Brittany told the baby about their wonderful future with Catlin and a ranch.

Rachel phoned Mitch's to make certain Matthew was there. He was. Matthew is an odious child.

Cheryl fretted. She didn't have a chance to talk to Scott. Vince recalled the burglary and decided Reginald had stolen his clothes then. Mary took Vince aside and told him how terrible she felt. She asked if he had tried to kill Reginald.

Mac psychologized Rachel to death. [I don't want to go into it in detail.] He told her he loved her. She calmed down and admitted that she felt guilty for accusing Mitch of kidnapping Matthew. He suggested she apologize. She refused to have anything to do with Mitch. He said he would have to shoulder the burden.

Matthew asked if Mitch loved Rachel. Mitch hedged. He told him Mac and Rachel loved each other and advised him [told him] not to stir things up. Matthew is such an odious child. He is still on about Suzy Strathmore. Before he went to New York she told him she loved him, but since his return she has been more interested in making women's volleyball for the 1992 Olympics.

Vince got upset. He told Mary he wouldn't try to kill anyone for her sake because she wasn't worth it. They had a big fight. [It was rather cute.] She stomped out when Vince accused her of believing Reginald for his money. Scott and Cheryl argued. She told him if he wasn't siding with the McKinnons she didn't want anything to do with him. For good measure she added that his father was a monster. Enter Victoria. They argued the respective merits of Vince and Reginald. A fight broke out. Physical. People tried to break it up. The girls splashed water on each other. Cass intervened. He told Victoria to leave. Victoria told Scott to come home. Scott refused. Cheryl advised him to go.

Felicia bugged Rachel about Mitch.

Matthew doesn't know about the Great Depression. Mac dropped by Mitch's place.

Brittany bitched to Mary about Peter. She refused to believe that Vince had thrown the knife.

Scott told his troubles to Cass. Cheryl refused to talk to him.

Matthew went home. Mac and Mitch first gave him their respective words that they wouldn't fight. Mac apologized for his previous attack and Rachel's complaint. Mitch accepted. Mac thanked him for being a good father in New York. Mr Padowski found. It was not a happy phone call. Mac asked what was wrong. Mr Padowski is Mitch's parole officer. He wants to talk. Bad News.

Zach gave Brittany a pep talk. He told her what a great lawyer he was. She prayed to god for things to workout for her and Catlin and their baby.

Cass phoned Vince with a list of lawyers. Vince wrote them down. Cass was soothing. He found Vince surprisingly confident.

Cheryl told Kathleen there was no room in her life for a traitor.

Vince went out to his car [with an Illinois license plate. Oh.]
