Felicia apologized to Rachel for having brought Mitch to the show. Rachel forgave her. Felicia said she was going to go to Reginald's party and asked to talk to Mitch alone.
Kathleen grew cryptic after attempting to contact Mrs Nixon.
Reginald beat Victoria at vingt-et-un countless times. When Gomez reported Mary was nowhere to be found he said she was probably somewhere about and seemed unconcerned, but he went out, ostensibly to walk with Victoria. His actual intention was to patrol and look for her.
Michael received Mary in the stables. He offered to tell her the Truth. They chatted amicably for a bit. She told him every father treated his daughter's first beau badly. He told her the whole sordid story about the horsewhipping and the cellar room and Victoria. She became upset. Enter Reginald and Victoria. Reginald asked what kind of lies Michael was telling his wife. Mary begged him to say he would never whip a boy. Reginald and Michael stomped outside. Mary asked Victoria for the Truth. Donna saw Michael and Reginald and the whip outside together and screamed at her father not to hurt Michael.
Kathleen told Cass Mrs Nixon had died of a heart attack last night. They suspect Reginald had a hand in it..
Felicia ascertained that Mitch could come to lunch to help plan Cass and Kathleen's wedding. She made photographic noises. Enter Mac. Exit Mitch. Felicia attempted to flee. Mac detained her. She explained that she'd invited Mitch over so he [Mac] and Rachel could be alone. Enter Rachel. Mac said he was busy.
Kathleen tried to think of someone else who could prove that Mary had intended to leave Reginald before the accident. Ben phoned but the connection was bad and they weren't able to find out what his plans were before the line went dead.
Victoria told Mary that she hadn't met Donna until last summer and Michael hadn't known about the twins until the following spring. Mary became extremely upset to learn that Reginald had seemingly made a career out of separating children from their mothers. She yelled at him. He asked to be allowed to explain. She threatened to move out so she wouldn't have to listen to him lie anymore. Reginald cornered Donna and frightened her into going to convince Mary that Michael had lied.
Victoria went to Mary's Place. She told Scott about Mary being upset and tried too hard to be friendly. Vince told him he belonged with the Loves and fired him.
Mitch arrived Felicia's punctually at 2:00 PM. She had to speak to him about that. A female named Heather arrived. And another female. Wallingford brought the staff of the Northwoods Inn. Quinn arrived. Cass and Kathleen arrived. Rachel dropped by unexpectedly and dropped out hastily. Mitch asked Felicia what that was about.
Donna pled with Mary not to leave Reginald. She told her her mother had been cruel and was the cause of the separation. Her father was on her side. The room was to avoid scandal. Mother wanted her to go to Sweden and have an abortion. Mother insisted on getting rid of Victoria. Daddy kept track of Victoria and provided her with money and Bridget. Donna told her mother had made Michael think it was Reginald's fault and now Michael was angry because she wouldn't marry him. Exit Donna. Victoria had been eavesdropping and she screamed at her and fled. Reginald comforted Donna and said kind things. She sobbed and sobbed. He promised her they'd be a family again. He turned to Mary and said they needed her to stay. Mary agreed to stay in the guest room and left them alone. Donna sobbed Michael's name.
Michael found Victoria sobbing about lies.
Zach dropped by Felicia's to get Quinn's signature. She's not impressed with him. Mac's meeting ran overtime. He emerged and introduced her [Rachel] to Rose but insisted on lunching with Rachel.
Scott left a note for Cheryl explaining why he wasn't working at Mary's Place anymore. Vince tore it in half and rehired him, apologizing for having been unreasonable.
Rachel was abstracted. She told Mac she was brooding about her show.
Mitch made a big hit with Felicia's assorted female guests. Felicia was peeved that he had no interest in any of them. Cass asked Felicia to be his best man in honor of Zane. She was delighted. Everyone left, even Wallingford, because Felicia insisted on being left alone with Mitch. She told him how swell all of the women had been. Gomez phoned. Reginald told him [Mitch] to bring out the rest of the trump today or else.
Reginald is determined to buy the company so that Michael doesn't get it.
Michael told Victoria Reginald had frightened Donna into saying those things.
Reginald told Donna he was mean to her because she was just like her mother. Donna said he'd driven mother to suicide and he was trying to do the same to her. He told her she had a vivid imagination.
Scott and Cass and Kathleen and MJ are worried about Vince.
Felicia asked Mitch to Reginald's Hallowe'en party. He agreed to think about it.
Reginald raved about something unforgivable that Donna's mother had done. Donna blamed him for her mother's death. She sort of collapsed as Victoria came in. Victoria turned on Reginald and demanded to know what he'd done to Donna.
