ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

March 20, 1985

Blaine told Sandy Donna'd been over. Sandy wants to go to San Francisco. She's thrilled. He wants a job at that station too. BUT WHAT ABOUT MAC? Sandy'll tell him.

Mac et al at Rachel's bedside. She opened her eyes. They talked to her. She said nothing. Generally optimistic tone.

Mac's thrilled. Sandy told him. Mac's bowled over. Confused. He left. Blaine came and said Frisco sounds agreeable. Sandy feels bad about Mac. He doesn't know if he can go. Blaine's still hopeful. Sandy's not. Ada bounded up thrilled about Rachel. They told her. Sandy left. Blaine raved to Ada. She thinks they need to get away. Frisco called. Ada advised her to accept and Sandy would come around. Leave Mac to me said she.

Peter in Oregon after information.

Sally raving to herself that Catlin can't possibly care about her and she mustn't think about him and she hated him but she loved him. Then she yelled CATLIN and made a noise like a car accident.

Peter asked about Josh Peterson. The man was reticent. He'll meet him in 1/2 hour. Peter went away. The man told the female 'twas merely a salesman.

Felicia apologizing to Grant. ("This is my favourite hat. I bought it with the royalty cheque every penny of it when I did Gardenias for Gwendolyn. It's a designer hat it really is and I want you to decimate it. I mean it. I want you to do something terrible to it. And I'll watch.") Grant said it couldn't be helped. He's upset but he forgives her. Wallingford says it was Caroline's fault. They explained incoherently about Bates and Caroline. Caroline escaped and fell in love at the furrier's. She's been retrieved.

Mac talking to Rachel about Amanda and Matthew and home. Rachel was silent. Mac's a bit perturbed by it. Ada reassured him.

Car horn. Someone yelling. Sally. Catlin. Extremely concerned for her. She was driving like Cass (he said a maniac but in Majorca it seemed to be virtually the same thing). She could've been killed. She told him she couldn't stop thinking about him and she was trying to get away from him and asked why he hadn't told her. He said he couldn't. She asked if he still saw her and if she knew about her. Honey she's dead. She apologized and he took her back to the cabin to call a tow truck.

Mac wants Alice to examine Rachel. He's full of plans. Ada told Mac he should let Sandy go. In a roundabout way. Mac doesn't want to. Ada talked him round. She reminded him of Carl.

Insurancing. The man is a big reader of Felicia's novels. They'll cover the whole thing. BUT Lily has no mortgage (she borrowed from Felicia if you recall) so they must investigate further. They suspect Felicia of trying to collect the insurance (having used a similar device in her trucker novel). They're upset. They want a lawyer.

Blaine told Sandy she'd stalled Frisco. She went to see Rachel with Ada. Mac gave Sandy the go-ahead. They'll visit extensively.

Sally called Aunt Liz for a ride. Catlin said he could drive her but she'd rather Liz. She asked about his wife. Brittany he told her. It had hurt to lose her [Brittany] but he loved her and the ache had gone away upon falling in love with Sally. Willa was her cousin. She drowned on a boat to Alaska with their 13 month old son Evan. She was upset he hadn't told her. He said he'd tell her anything she wanted to know because he didn't want to lose her. He asked her to call Aunt Liz back and stay with him but she said in rather a daze she needed to be alone. He said he knew it must be a shock. She said she'd had so much faith in him but now everything was different. Aunt Liz honked for her. He said he loved her. She left.

Peter waiting for the man. Bearded.

Mac ministering to Rachel. She's somewhat weak. He loves her. Joyce suggested she sleep. Who was that man? said Rachel.
