ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

November 14, 1986

Michael introduced a lot of balloons into Donna's bedroom. Donna: Michael. Michael: Oh, good. You got it on the first guess. Donna: WHAT? What is this? Did you do this? Michael: Yeah. Well, I figured the last few months haven't been too much fun, so - -, a little fun. Donna:, I feel like a teenager again. Michael: Good. [Kissing.] I've been doing a lot of thinking about those days. I thought I must have been one heck of a forgetful teenager. Donna: Oh, you weren't, you were PERFECT. Michael: No, I wasn't. You see, when we were making mad, passionate love in the stables, there was one very important question I forgot to ask you. Donna: You forgot to ask me if I was using BIRTH CONTROL. [These people are less delicate in their conversation than people speaking with Cheryl. There is no black cloud of nuns to subdue them, you see.] Michael: No. For twenty years, I have loved you with all my heart. So I guess that today is an OK day for me to ask you this question. Will you marry me? Donna: Yes. Michael: TODAY? Donna: Yes yes yes yes yes. Michael: Good good good good good. A lot of hysterical laughter emanated from Donna's bed.

Mac is still out of sorts.

Felicia asked Mitch why he looked like death warmed over.

Brittany threatened to kill Peter. She sounds at the end of her rope. Enter Reginald. They told him the gun had blanks. Both assured him all was well. Reginald warned her that it wouldn't do for her to seem to be working against the Loves. Brittany went back to the house. Reginald warned Peter he'd look silly if Brittany had betrayed him.

Rachel's kicking herself for letting Mitch kiss her. Matthew came in and said he was too sick to go to school. He had a list of great symptoms. They let him stay home from school. He asked if Mitch would be in today. Mitch can't bet. Betting is against parole. He refused to tell Felicia anything. He stomped off, calling her a pushy broad. She pursued him. He threatened to leave town.

Nicole has everything under control. Michael gave Victoria the day off to come to the wedding. He said she had to make her decision between father and grand father; independence and being a puppet.

Reginald told Peter a man who let his wife intimidate him was no man [ICK.] He advised him to get rid of Brittany if he couldn't keep her in line. Peter was cowed. That Old Carrot asked if Donna's speculation that Peter had been tricked into marriage was correct. Enter Brittany. Peter took her aside and told her to meet him in the stables in twenty minutes if she wanted to see her baby again.

Mac told Matthew he'd told Mitch not to come around any more. Mitch has become too fond of Rachel. Matthew was distressed explained pretty much that he was helping Rachel and Mitch avoid temptation.

Felicia advised Mitch not to violate parole by fleeing the state. She told him to stay in town but avoid the Corys. She offered him the bartender's job at the Northwoods Inn. Catlin spends all his time detecting. Gomez phoned and Reginald told him [Mitch] he had to get the trump out this week regardless of what Mac said.

Matthew went to phone Mitch. Rachel told Mac he wasn't too old for her. They seemed to get along OK. Mac has pernicious doubts.

Brittany told Peter she'd phoned Adam and said he'd kidnapped her son. Peter told her she was stupid and put her on the line to Miss Weston. Miss Weston told her she had orders from Peter to put Peter Reginald up for adoption. Brittany had a fit. She ordered her to bring her baby back. Miss Weston hung up. She attacked Peter and screamed she wanted her baby back. She tried to get the horse to kill him. Peter shut the door of the stall and told her if she behaved properly he'd retrieve her baby for her. She said she would get the police to help her. He said that no one could help her. She cried. [It was rather sweet, for her.] She said she'd tell his father. He said his father was a male chauvinist pig and he doubted he'd side with her. He told her to keep the stall door closed. Exit Peter.

Victoria told Reginald she was going with Donna and Michael. He was wounded. He gave her a line about how captivating she was and how much he loved her. She was distressed.

Sarah looked for Catlin.

Mitch told Felicia he'd check with the parole officer about the job and let her know. He said he had to cruise by the Cory Romance to pick up some tools and left. Felicia grew suspicious and followed him.

Sarah told Catlin Brittany was behaving strangely and the baby wasn't making any noise. He decided to phone the police.

Brittany phoned the 23rd precinct and left a message for Adam. She was interrupted by Reginald and Victoria.

Catlin dragged Sara away from her breakfast to go to the Loves'. He decided to phone Rachel and have her meet them there.

Rachel gave Matthew Mitch's phone number. There was no answer. Quinn arrived. She apologized for Mitch's existence and said she'd found a relationship [I mean a replacement. I don't know where my mind was.] Rachel went off to look for Matthew. Quinn asked to be allowed to use the phone.

Peter phoned the police station to counteract Brittany's message. Michael interrupted him before anything could be done. Michael assembled everyone in the drawing room to tell Reginald it would probably be the last time he saw his granddaughter and daughters. Donna reminded him of how she'd used to ask for a kiss and be refused, saying she hadn't earned it. She asked for a kiss. He stood in stony silence. Victoria didn't like that. Michael: You're a real piece of work, Reg. Well I hope you enjoy this house, because you're going to be here alone. Peter: I'm staying. Michael: Like I said, Reg, you're going to be here all alone. He told him off for not loving Donna and shepherded his women out. Bridget came rushing in and told Peter that horse was going mad. Peter said he had an important call to make. Reginald told him to be a man. Peter wandered off obediently. Brittany phoned the Corys and, thinking Quinn was Rachel, told her she couldn't wait and she was going to kill Peter.

Michael and Donna opted for the faster marriage ceremony. Donna vowed a reasonable speed. Michael spoke more slowly, savoring it, I guess, but oh, the agony. Like Jake, he kept on vowing when he was supposed to wait for something to repeat. They exchanged rings. The judge asked if anyone had any objections. Enter Reginald with an objection.

Quinn told Rachel what Brittany had said. They rushed out.

Matthew insisted Mitch come inside while he fetched his light meter. Mitch's protests went in vain. Mac found him and attacked him violently, refusing to listen to his explanation. Matthew returned and was upset.

Peter took a gun to the stables. Bridget told him Brittany was out there.

Brittany waited in the stables to make Peter tell about the baby. Enter Peter. He aimed his gun at the bucking and rearing horse behind her. She whirled around and shot him.
