I want to add this motion to the agenda for the September meeting of 
the Board of Directors.

Since it is crucial that NCF both retain its current membership and, 
more importantly, that it attract new contributing members, it is 
essential that we provide reliable basic services;  it being clear that 
erratic, unreliable connectivity will exhaust the patience of current 
members and preclude attracting new ones, it is therefore moved 
that:

MOTION:

That the Board of Directors make the availability of dependable dial-
up connectivity its first priority, including hiring help for our System 
Administrator, if neccessary.
