INTO THE UNKNOWN
Last updated: 8/14/00
Welcome, welcome! Renovation's coming along just fine - Hey! I said
over there! Right, there! - *ahem* maybe I should pay the movers?
Due to the space limitations, the graphics are nonexistant. Just close
your eyes and imagine a picture of a cavernous opening, with a lone explorer
with a small light source contemplating entering. Okay, you can open your
eyes now.
Hello?
I said you can - There, much better.
The first stop through the unknown is my little
fanfic page, the reason why there's no space for graphics around here.
People keep telling me I can write O_o but I'll let you be the judge.
Seguing from that awkwardly, you need an original story to "borrow". I use
Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, a Magical Girls anime created by
Takeuchi Naoko. Local interest was strong once, and the
Ottawa Sailor Moon Club
was created. I used to maintain a weekly episode
guide when I had time. Now, it's just the list of US stations airing
the series. If the series is picked up again in Canada, I'll go back to
the guide.
The NCF has it's own local
discussion group for the series, and has a link to the newsgroup
alt.fan.sailor-moon. The Sailor Moon SIG is the second fastest growing
SIG the NCF ever had, only outdone by the Net Abuse SIG (which is a sad
commentary about the problems of junk e-mail.
Right, better mention that now. I hate junk e-mail.
I am the type who will complain to a junker's provider when I get junk e-mail.
The only remove request I believe in is the one I send requesting the
junker get the toss from his provider. The NCF maintains a list of tools
useful in tracking down the origin of junk e-mail, and has discussion
groups where NCF members can get help in tracking.
On that happy note, since this is getting long for a intro, my
other interests have been given a page of their
own. You can mail me with your comments, but
do keep in mind the paragraph above.
