Assistance Programs

Today more than ever, the internet is an important resource for people of our region -- but not everyone is in a position of being able to support NCF with donations or volunteering.

NCF is pleased that assistance programs are available as described below.

  • City of Ottawa The Employment and Financial Assistance branch of the City of Ottawa would be pleased to donate to NCF on behalf of families with children who are receiving support via Ontario Works (OW) or Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP).

    The documentation required for this program includes the following information:

    • number of adults (18 years and older) in your family
    • number of children in your family, including their age and SDMT member ID

    Families may make contributions to NCF as well.

  • NCF Members-Helping-Members Fund This Fund, organized by NCF, receives donations from NCF members, and helps other members who cannot afford to contribute to NCF's operation by subsidizing their services. To receive assistance from other NCF members via this Fund, please contact NCF's Executive Director by phoning 613-520-9001 ext 112.

Public Internet Access

The Ottawa Public Library offers internet access at all library branches.
