A dime for your thoughts?

(Adapted from "A penny for your thoughts" - when a penny was worth a lot. Ref: http://www.phrases.org.uk/bulletin_board/24/messages/454.html )

It has been less than one month and the Google Adsense account I set up for my Deep Blonde Thoughts blog has earned 10 cents. Woo hoo! Earning this indecent amount of revenue ;-^ wasn't my primary goal. My "This about that" discussion group aka "blog" at NCF is indeed a handy tool for creative expression and sharing. So is the "Writ 'n' Read" dg. The technology though does not provide the ability for an audience to see related dg's or comment on posts unless one is an NCF member.

Google's blogging tool caught my interest because of the appealing templates, consistent entry presentation and loads of related tools. It also got my curiosity in seeing how much one could earn if the audience actually clicked on ads on pages containing one's questions, accomplishments and deep, deep thoughts.

I do not plan to abandon NCF as it has been a symbiotic long-term relationship. I am though looking to use more flexible tools to express and connect with ease to like-minded others.

Thanks for your valuable time.

I think I'm gaining readership at the Deep Blonde Thoughts blog and actual people who click on the ads. Total estimated AdSense earnings to-date: $0.70

With all the ups and downs with NCF services this weekend, I am glad that I have other platforms to send email, share thoughts and progress about the novel's EBook version. At least the NCF web hosting seems stable now. Knock on wood?

Visit: http://www.yearoftherabbit.ca

Explore and dig deep. Check out the coupon code page where you can save a whopping $2 on the Ebook purchase until December 24th.

AdSense...I've heard stories from other authors that suggest that it's not worth the time of day.

One more piece of evidence for the file.
