WHEREAS NCF must at all times have a public representative:
BE IT RESOLVED that in the event that NCF is without staff to fulfill this duty, the president of the board shall represent the NCF, but shall defer decisions to the board of directors.
WHEREAS employees of the NCF must at all times have a contact person to report to:
BE IT RESOLVED that in the event that NCF is without staff to fulfill this duty, each employee shall report to a committee of their choice of three members of the board of directors.
The
frequency of account renewals is not evenly distributed throughout the
year. More members have renewal dates
in months of December to May than in the other months (an artifact caused by
the way the renewal dates were first assigned). Thus donation revenue associated with renewals is heavier in Jan
to June. To allow possible changes to
the renewal letters to reach the most people, it is reasonable to suspend
sending of renewal letters until the new letters can be prepared. Meanwhile, NCF can operate using cash
reserves. The suspension should be as
short as possible, and last no more than a month. The renewal date of people affected should not be changed, but
notice of their renewal should be shifted back in time this year.
BE IT RESOLVED that sending of renewal letters be temporarily deferred while new letters are prepared.
